Edgar Woollatt (1871-1931) This is a signed water colour probably painted in the early 1900's depicting a river and bridge scene with angler and cattle. The painting is in excellent condition and measures :- image 60 x 37 cm, overall 78 x 57 cm.
Edgar Woollatt was born in Radford, Nottingham in 1871 and studied at Nottingham School of Art. He was a landscape and figure painter, illustrator, designer, commercial artist and black and white artist/lithographer. He was elected a full Member of the Nottingham Society of Artists in 1908 and its Vice President in 1929.
